This SKILLs Session will look at the connections between menopause and arthritis, considering both the commonalties in symptoms and how to support the management of arthritis during the menopause
After this session, you will:
Have an increased understanding of the menopause.
Understand how menopause affects the MSK system.
Have an increased understanding of menopause as a trigger point for arthritis and MSK conditions.
Have an increased understanding of the links between menopause and arthritis and MSK conditions.
Have an increased awareness of support and resources available.
Meet the speaker

Rhiannon Griffiths is Clinical Lead Physiotherapist for Pelvic Health at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. Specialising in pelvic health physiotherapy since 2010. She completed her MSc in Rehabilitation Studies (Continence for Physiotherapists) in 2021.
Her interests include pelvic pain management and service development and has contributed to shaping national policy through her involvement in the Women’s Health Plan for Wales. Rhiannon is passionate about improving access to specialist pelvic health services and supporting education for healthcare professionals.
